"During the year, there will be held a lot of activities at all levels, including the participation of heads of ministries and tour operators establishing working partnerships for the years to come", - she said.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, before the official opening of the ministers of the two countries, a joint statement will be signed on the Year and the presentation of the program.
It will include the Greek events in Russia, the Russian events in Greece, joint projects, and activities in the field of culture.
In this case, the plan can be supplemented during the year.
In Greece, the forthcoming project is expected with great interest, believing that cooperation on the official and professional level will help to further develop the tourist flows between the two countries. The Greeks are hoping to secure success in the Russian market, observed on the background of activation of the Russian tourist traffic.
Last year, Greece was visited by about 900,000 Russian tourists, which was 30% more than in the year 2015.
